"Pecularities" are really potentialities that have been repressed by nefarious beings here, to advance their nefarious agendas. The only reason Miss Peregrine's students have to be hidden away is to protect them from those agendas. They stay away from the outside world because it has become a prison planet. But it is the dumbed-down prisoners who embrace their own prisonerhood that are the peculiar ones...not the ones whose potentialities are natural and expressed; those are the normal ones!
Are you seeing the metaphor here? Did you pick up on examples like this of the subtle programming of the Matrix media, trying to make people with abilities ashamed when they should be proud, making right wrong and wrong seem right?
Those petty, ridiculous, nefarious agendas do not define us, so don't become bogged down by overly investing in all your "targetedness." That's a mind trap you don't want to fall into, and many have. We have an identity far above and beyond that. Our potentialities are who we really are. We define us. So, learn what you can do, and remember, it may not sound the way you want it to sound, nor look the way you want it to look. You will learn truths you may not want to learn. It may give you a bad case of cognitive dissonance. Don't worry, we're all going through that right now. It's only because so much has been suppressed.
Learn all you can. Pick up the many keys presenting themselves to you right now.
Mind the messages; don't get distracted by the messengers.
